THE PERFECT PAIRING:
McCOLLUM + ADELSHEIM

CJ McCollum and Adelsheim share similar beliefs about wine:
It should taste great. It should be approachable.
And it should be enjoyed with those you love.

As the Chehalem Mountains’ first winery, Adelsheim’s roots run deep in the wine community. Combine their vast knowledge and expertise with CJ’s endless curiosity and love of learning, and it’s clear to see why this is the perfect pairing. Connected through their passion for wine, they formed a true partnership to bring his first wine to life—McCollum Heritage 91: 2018 Pinot noir.

When it came to McCollum Heritage 91’s inaugural wine, CJ wanted to choose vineyards that highlight the uniqueness that Oregon terrain has to offer.

For the 2018 Pinot noir, they pulled from three of Adelsheim’s most prized estate vineyards, all planted on deep volcanic soil. Each vineyard imparts distinctive notes—spice and loam, fresh cherry, and violet and lavender—a true celebration of Oregon’s rich, diverse terrain.

I wouldn’t have been able to bring McCollum Heritage 91 to life without the care and expertise I received from the team at Adelsheim. I’m truly grateful for this partnership.
